About El Angosto winery

The Cambra family restored an old cellar in Santa Rosa estate in Ontinyent, Valencia active since 1905 to develop what is today El Angosto winery.

Vineyards are placed in two estates: Finca Santa Rosa and Finca El Angosto. They are mainly south-facing vineyards rooted in slope lands with a well-drained limestone crust, a sandy loam texture and poor in organic matter, at the foot of the mountain range

White grapes varieties include chardonnay, verdejo, sauvignon blanc, muscat (moscatel grano menudo) and viognier; red varieties grown by El Angosto are monastrell, syrah, cabernet sauvignon, grenache (Garnacha Tintorera), graciano, petit verdot, tempranillo, mencia, tannat, marselan and malbec.

El Angosto product range is necessarily linked with a pure Mediterranean climate, a place of predilection for vine growing. The generosity of the sun allows for pronounced expressions of each grape variety for subtle combinations to obtain modern wines full of passion, soul and personality.
