With Viña Magna Crianza we are able to offer a representative of Spain's quality red wines: red Tempranillo from one of Spain's most prestigious winemaking regions: Ribera del Duero.
Winemaking: Harvest by hand in 12-kg crates, sorted on arrival. Moved along the process by gravity for maximum organoleptic quality of the wine. Cold maceration for 5 days at 5°C. Alcoholic fermentation at 26-28°C. Malolactic fermentation in stainless-steel tanks and in new oak barrels. Ageing for 15 months at 14°C in new French oak with 75% humidity. Stirring the lees every 15 days. Bottled in May 2018.
Winter and spring were marked by mild temperatures and copious rainfall. Summer was very dry with high temperatures. The water reserves of the plant and a month of October with no rainfall and ample temperature alternations, resulted in an abundant harvest of great quality. The resulting wine features intensity of red fruits on the nose and an elegant and fresh palate.
