Marsilea Premier Bobal is a fruit forward, easy drinking red wine, very representative of Bobal, Valencia's ensign red variety that is virtually exclusive to this Mediterranean region. Bobal is one of the grapes whose vinification and use has been dramatically reorientated over the last decades. Historically it was mainly used in combination with other red grapes but was not much appreciated on its own. A few winemakers decided to research and develop high quality varietal Bobal wines. Their work has over the years resulted in a large diversity of Bobal wines from low intervention, fruity styles -like Marsilea and Marsilea Premier- through clay aged to oak aged, complex and concentrated mature reds. Bobal features characteristic herbal notes together with red berry flavours. Ph: 3.70 ; total acidity: 4.8 g/l (in tartaric acid); malic acid: 0.12 g/l; acetic acid: 0.55 g/l; residual sugar: 0.9 g/l
