Gómez de Segura Tempranillo Rioja

00060115

A super expressive, easy drinking version of tempranillo, the queen variety in Rioja and many parts of Spain. Lots of interesting tones, without the more traditional oak ageing tinges. Carbonic maceration is winemaking jargon for whole grape cluster pre-fermentation in an airless atmosphere to emphasise fruit aromas.

An experience of true warmth

This wine is simply delicious. Terrific full-bodied flavour but beautifully smooth. One of my all time favorites!

I'm not good at describing why I like a wine. But this is simply a very easy wine to drink.
