Pura Sangre Monastrell Gran Reserva Jumilla

00030309

Big, decadent, Pura Sangre or ‘pure breed’ holds a Mediterranean feast in every sip. Monastrell grapes typically offer spice hints like nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper...plus growing on the Mediterranean coast to generous ripening means a lot of fruit flavour, jam and dried fruits like figs, raisins and prunes.

Delicious full bodied red.

Another winner from Boddga Soul. Dry and full of flavour. Very alcoholic. Lovely!

    Powerful and delicious

I'm not always in the mood for deep reds, but Pura Sangre has made me change my mind: perfect for zipping by the fireplace, while watching the rain outside. Makes me love autumn!

Very full-bodied, almost port-like wine (high alcohol at 16.5%). Excellent on its own, recommended.
